Phase 1: Analyzing the Patches Clues
Every puzzle starts with a distribution of 'Clue Cells'. A clue consists of two parts: a Number and an optional Icon. The Number indicates exactly how many cells the resulting 'Patch' (or shape) must contain.
Phase 2: Sculpting Your Patches
To create a patch, simply click and drag from a clue cell to adjacent empty cells. As you drag, you'll see a preview of the shape. This is identical to the LinkedIn Patches experience.
Phase 3: Achieving Perfect Symmetry
A puzzle is only 'Solved' when two conditions are met: every single cell on the grid belongs to exactly one shape, and every shape correctly satisfies its unique clue.
The Language of Geometry
The icons within clue cells are the most powerful constraints in the game. They limit the 'search space' and provide vital information about the surrounding cells.
Square
The shape must be a perfect square (e.g., 2x2 or 3x3).
Tall
The shape must be a vertical rectangle where the height is strictly greater than the width.
